Our Attorneys
 Gregory M. Alford is admitted to the bar in South Carolina, Georgia and U.S. District Court, South Carolina, and has practiced law on Hilton Head since 1994. Gregg earned his B.S. in Commercial Recreation from Georgia Southern College in 1989, and his J.D. from Mercer University in 1994. Gregg is the town attorney for the Town of Hilton Head Island, and has an active, private civil trial practice including commercial and contract litigation, personal injury law, foreclosures, mechanics liens and real estate litigation.  John W. Wilkins is admitted to the bar in the State of South Carolina, U.S. District Court, South Carolina and U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit, and has practiced on Hilton Head since 1997. John earned his B.A. in Political Science from Emory University in 1994, and his J.D. from University of South Carolina in 1997. John's practice areas include corporate and business law; municipal law; landlord and tenant law; real property and commercial law; mechanics liens and collection, and simple estate planning.  Amanda DuBose is the firm's civil litigation paralegal and works in the Hilton Head Island office. Amanda has been with the firm since 2004. Amanda has a B.A. in Sociology from Meredith College in Raleigh, N.C. Amanda moved here from the Florida keys in 2003, and now lives in Bluffton with her husband, Jason.  Arlene Coleman is a paralegal, and works in our Hilton Head Island office. Arlene has been an island resident since 1986. Arlene has been with the firm since 2002. Arlene earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Madison College. Prior to moving here, Arlene was the convention manager for Alexandria, Virginia.  Enrique "Ricky" Lugo is the firm's office manager and litigation paralegal. Ricky works in the Hilton Head Island office. Ricky has been with the firm since 2001, and prior to that served in the U.S. Marine Corps for eight years. Ricky earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Phoenix.
